My favorite Mexican place

Food was fantastic but service could have been faster. She took our drink order then walked by 2 times over the next 15 minutes without asking if we were ready to order. Then she took a to go order and put it in before she got our order. Once the order was in the food came out super fast and fresh and wonderful.I'm editing this from a 4 star to 1 star. Decided to give this place another shot. We got to place our order faster but my folks meal came out and mine didnt. After 10 minutes the waitress comes up to me and says, "Sorry, I forgot to put your order in. Its coming." 10 minutes later my food comes out so I waited 45 minutes for my food. My folks had already finished eating long ago and she gave me my check with no discount or apology, nothing. I mean the least she could have done is take off the tea. I have to say we wont ever be back.

Great authentic Mexican food. Fast service (4 minutes on a to go order). A bit pricey, although the portion was quite large. The total was $13 for a steak burrito, including a .30 cent "boxing" fee for the styrofoam container I was given.

I ordered a shrimp quesadilla as carry out due to Covid 19. Once I got it home I discovered the shrimp were still in the shell. Picking out all the shrimp and removing the shells and legs before I could eat it was a big mess. Any restaurant should know that shrimp shells should be removed before mixing them into the recipe.

Great food, prices and drinks. The place is beautiful and staff very helpful and friendly. Will definitely return in a weekly basis. 100% recommend! They also do takeouts!

Charges for chips and salsa. Doesn't allow substitutions for sides. Really dark inside. Only one wait staff.

I love the chairs, the food, and the secret ninjas who saved me from a dangerous space invasion. The queso was so good, and was totally worth the silent but deadly flatulence. The water slide gave me anxiety, but the staff was very generous by bringing me extra napkins

Some of the best Mexican food you can get on the West side (head across the river for some better and more authentic offerings). The restaurant is clean and well decorated and the service is on-point. They offer the typical combinations of basic Mexican ingredients and portions are generous. Prices are not bad, especially if you go for the lunch specials.

Service is prompt and food is pretty good. Need to double up on the tortillas, but still pretty good.

Good balence between athentic Mexican fare and Tex Mex classics. They also have burgers if not everyone wants some south of the border food.

I have tried several times because they are close to my house, but they just can't ever get an order right. My recent order was shrimp cooked in white cheese with rice. I didn't want the onions mushrooms or tortillas. I bite into my first shrimp and it wasn't peeled. SO to eat it I had to reach in all that cheese and peel the shell off. Every bite I tried after that had shell in it. Trashed a $22 dollar meal. Strike Three!

I have always had a great experience here! The food has been delicious, atmosphere pleasant, and the service good. I would give it five stars if someone hadn't died of food poisoning from eating here. That kind of puts a damper on things.

This is a good place to enjoy good Mexican food. This is located opposite to the Payless supermarket and is usually not very busy.The quality of food is also quite good and the serving size is also very decent. Excellent restaurant to enjoy nice Mexican food. One observation- The place is quite dimly lit

Enjoying the 4 for $4. Was such a great deal. And the bacon cheeseburger was very good.

Margaritas had to much syrup the rice was way to salty and undercooked. But everything else was good

This was our first visit to Agave Azule and it was a great experience. The service was good and the food even better. The chips and salsa to start the meal were very good. Just enough heat in the salsa for good flavor but not so much to deaden your taste buds. We both had the number 3 combo with the pablano pepper, enchilada and taco. It was a great choice. The cheese in the meal was very good and the pablano was just hot enough for good taste. We will be dining there again.

Came in 20 min before close, they didnt pressure us or hurry us. Full menu was available and they let us hang out till well past closing time. I am a super regular customer and this level of customer service is tje norm. They care about their customers as if they were all super regulars. Best fast food in the world...or sit down & take your time food, or gather the gang and laugh till your face & stomach hurts, or whatever.Check them out! Drink specials, food specials, a caring staff... Can't go wrong!

Pretty good Mexican food it had good flavor without too much grease

Great place to eat. Menu has a wide variety of offerings. Even if Mexican is not your style there are many choices available to you.

The beef here tasted really funny. Gave me an upset stomach. Quality does not match price. Wouldn’t recommend.

A standard mid priced Mexican restaurant. The Mexicano burrito was Spicer than I expected from a typical restaurant. Nice. Dark..

They're always very quick to bring the food out. Would recommend planning to take leftovers home as the plate size is quite large

I would give this a higher score if it wasnt for the horrible service. Server ignored us, looked at us like we were crazy when asking for more chips and salsa, didnt bring more chips and salsa, did not refill drinks, and did not seem like he wanted to wait on us at all. On the other hand, our food was AMAZING and the portion was large enough to take half home. My husband is a big guy and couldn't eat it all.

I love coming to this restaurant! My husband and I used to be regulars until we moved. Once we move back, we will definitely be regulars again! The food is great and so is the service!

Great local Mexican place! Ask for sugar instead of salt on your margarita. Yumm! I loved the tamale. The service was really, really great - such lovely people! Finally, the cherry on top, everything is super inexpensive!

The service was very good but the food was meh. I had the veggie fajitas. It seems that they don't season the veggies, just pan sear them. So, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. The restaurant was well decorated but dimly lit. So, if you want a meh meal in a pretty and dark restaurant with really good service, this is the place for you.

We ordered food to go ..it was by far the worst meal and we never get bad food from here! I got Rosa special and the shrimp were burnt, there was no white cheese sauce and the chicken was rubbery. My husband got the pollo Monterey and it was also rubbery chicken and cold food. The tortillas we ordered for these meals were also hard to chew. We had to toss out the food. The hostess was not very friendly either. When we wanted to order she walked away and got other people drinks and chips so we had to wait to order . We were so hoping for great food but not this time.. not sure we will order again.

There was one wait staff tending to the whole dining area. As a result, service was slow. The queso was overpriced for what we got, which resembled a bowl of milk with Pico de Gallo in it. My fiancé got really sick after eating a chicken quesadilla. I would not recommend eating here. There are many better options on both sides of the river.
